ok…abundance is all about timing…its not necessarily supposed to be for otk, but for gaining advantage…you have to have the 4 in you spell and trap zone so you want to use it when your opponent has few cards in hand and lots on the field…you want to try and gain more from abundance than you would lose…lets do the math
sending the 4 to the grave for the cost = minus 4
losing abundace because you played it = minus 1
so total loss is 5 for you…
you send lets say 3-4 cards your opponent controls are sent to the grave…so you get back 3 (lets just say 3) so thats plus three
get your pegasus’s so you get one to the spell and trap zone for each of them so thats plus three
in this situation you actually gain 1 card after everything resolves…
